Mesa Verde Cliff Dwellings

Great shots ... I've been there twice (1976 and 1988) Back then you could walk around them pretty freely

Probably not so much anymore

Thanks! Yes, they no longer seem to allow direct access to the dwellings. My guess would be due to damage and people pilfering souvenirs.
Very intriguing place! I like the framing of the first shot.
Thank you!
Fascinating place. Somewhere I will never see first hand. Nice shots
Thank you!

I've always thought that place was very interesting. Would love to go there and camp for a night or two. Nice set, Jeff.

Beautiful! Always hoped it'd work out sometime I could go see those cliff dewellings. Like the ones without the people best. I have a shot of an old farm house here in oregon and down the road I wish I'd have made a double exposure with my wife in it. She always wore close's that would be typical of the time. Just a single exposure in the clothe's I figured would ruin it. Windy way of saying the one with all the people in it take something away from it, they simply don't belong there!
