This was on our bucket list when we did our western loop. Unfortunately life shot that one down.

Very good shots.... :encouragement:
Thank you!

Thank you! For me it was a terrifying drive up and down, because I was in the passenger seat with no control. I had to focus on the center line, because looking to the right was a wonderful view of the land just falling away. Probably trauma from when my dad took one of those "shortcuts" down the side of a mountain when I was in high school. We all go a free ride to the VA Hospital in Roanoke, VA.

Oh Jeff, you would have hated me as a passenger in my Mini doing the dragon in NC/TN. 318 turns in 11.2 miles. I always told anyone wishing to ride with me to carry a barf bag and a change of undies.

The thing is, if I'm behind the wheel, I'm perfectly fine. I do plan on going again, I'll just keep myself occupied.

Very nice shots.

Great shots ... I've been there twice (1976 and 1988) Back then you could walk around them pretty freely

Probably not so much anymore

That's the kind of thing that'll get triggered from a drive like this! Eek!!
