Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Just got my camera and was trying some different things out. I honestly don't know if the images I took were great, I would appreciate any and all feedback! Thank you.

What is that mark in the bottom left corner of the photo? What caused it?

A funny angle, but I liked it.

I hate that the chair leg got in this his one, I couldn't crop it out without chopping the cat's ear off.

Thanks. What program did you use? I do not have any image editing software at the moment.

Frankly they aren't great and not even that good. I say this with no disrespect but why are you asking if they are great? There is nowhere to go from great. They are practice shots with a new lens or camera. Try thinking specifically and not about what is great or not great. If you are going to shoot the cat then try different things. Different shutter speeds and apertures. Ask yourself what do you want the audience to feel? For example the cat is probably a very cute cat but right now it's a photo of a cat and nothing else. How do you feel about the cat? Make me feel...

Catch him or her in their element... I hope that helps.

Mac beat me to it. :er:

Most any decent software will have Clone and Heal tools.

Try GIMP if your wallet won't withstand a PhotoShop hit.

Sorry, I really should have used a different word than "great". And thank you, no disrespect is taken. I asked for criticism and got it, I will work harder to get better pictures, and this helped a lot :)

Indeed you have: Digital Photo Professional in the CDs that came with the camera.
