This would be perfect for me, a photography student!
Any ideas how much it will cost and when it will be out?

Well it's actually not a camera but an imaging chip, and that link gives no indication of whether any camera companies are actually considering using it, so I'm not sure when or even if it will be available.

Just out of interest, why would it be perfect for you as a photography student? If it lets you shoot 10 high-resolution images a second, I would have thought the exact opposite would be the case, since it's better for a student to have to think about each shot.
