How did I do? What can I improve? More TMax 120 in D76.

The water line is a light slanted, and there is a LOT of sky(without anything in it).

Crop and straighten.


I'm guessing there isn't too much color, so you went B&W with it?

It's on B&W film (120 6x6), hence the greyscale. The buildings are straight and I leveled the living daylights out of the tripod head, but it was taken from an angle, hence the waterline. I WISH there was a place to take that dead on, but that's about as good as it gets in terms of location without finding out how to get on buoy.

Spending time and becoming frustrated with leveling your tripod head just might not be worth it. I usually get it as good as I can by eye and then straighten in post.

As for this picture; I think the composition is not wonderful. The odd building on the left hardly balances the more substantial buildings on the right, and there is too much sky and water. I would like to see what is to the right of the frame because there might be better balance overall.

Another possibility is simply a different crop altogether.
