Mini Photo Set Up

As an additional fun thing for a kids birthday party I'm thinking of setting up a simple photo set up. Ya know for those that wanna take pics w/the birthday child or just to take one.
I'm looking for ideas. Has anyone done this before? I'm thinking of making a stand with some sort of back drop. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds like a neat idea. Why not something sort of like a photobooth where the kids could have fun with it and make funny faces and act silly for the camera and then send the fun photos out in the thank you cards?

How old is the child? Boy or girl? Girl, I'd say a dark pink backdrop with some shiny stars? Let the girls dress up with beads and glitter and let them be superstars for a day. Boy, maybe a darker blue or white and give them some fun sports jerseys and gear to play with maybe? I don't have kids so i don't what ages apply to what activites really

lol naw that helps a lot. thanks. its for a girl she's 5. I dont want to put too much effort into the dress up, there's gonna be too much going on. this is just a quick step in the booth, snap, and you're on your way lol.
i do like the pink background w/stars though
