Mr. Krinkle
TPF Noob!
hello all,
Lately, I've been interested and pretty amazed by the effect that tilt shift lenses have on images. Im talking about the miniature like effect, for you to see what im talking about I'm gonna set an example of a member of this forum, that posted his work here: http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52221
(although this person didnt use the lense mentioned but edited it in photoshop)
also in this gallery, http://www.bluejake.com/archives/2004/03/23/tiltshift.php (speacially the 8th picture, the one with the car and the tree)
my question is basiccaly this, why does the lense gets the miniature effect??
and under what circumstances can this same effect be achieved?
i've found this kind of images trully mindblowing, and would love to try working with the effect (althoug it is going to be a long way till i can pay a lense like that:er:!)
