Miniphone to miniphone cable

I just bought a d-lite 2 set and have the pocket wizard flextt5. I found a miniphone to miniphone cable kicking around. Will that work? I mean, they'll plug in to both ends for sure but I want to make sure I'm not gunna fry anything. are miniphone connecters pretty universal?
