I was out BBQ'ing on the deck this evening and saw this little guy out exploring the waterfront.

How cool is that. Not often one sees a mink in the wild.

They are fun to watch and work the shoreline regularly looking for food. They use the top of the rock wall like a highway and one year we watched her move her nest from one end of the property to the other carrying the young in her mouth one at a time scampering along the top of the rock wall. Fun to see.
