Minolta MD Lenses

Hi guys Im 19 and goiing to school for photojournalism. Im new to the photoforum, but I've spent lots of time on cinematography.com. Anyway I have a Canon A1 and a minolta x700. Im looking for a nice zoom lens for the x700 (MD mount). found a Kenko...these any good? Any recomendations for a good lens? Im looking for something above 300mm. Thanks!
