Our first snow this afternoon brought a feeding frenzy in the garden.

Apologies as all taken at iso 3200 and I am not as hardy as the feathered friends, so through glass as I enjoyed my coffee and puffed my pipe!

Blue and great tits

It gets quite noisy when they peck away at a sunflower heart and rattle the feeder on the glass. They are about 3ft from me and do not seem worried.

Nice; I really like #1. Maybe a touch of sharpening and slight saturation boost?

This is from my new toy - 70D and concerned about noise at iso 3200 if I sharpened too much. I must experiment as I think things soften when converting to small .jpegs for uploading. It arrived this morning and so far have been impressed with the results in the gloom of a winter afternoon. The 40D and 600D would have pretty well been unusable at this setting.
