Mississippi Kites... Adult and Juvenile

[24megapixseal87 14]

Parent and juvenile.... I've personally never seen a juvenile before today... You'd NEVER know it was a Mississippi Kite!

They're putting a hurtin' on the cicada (locust, here in Kansas!) population...at least you get a meal outta one of em!

The ol' D3500 w/500 PF VR still kickin' it out of the park

The sun popped out and I blew the highlights on the adult.....(Novice move! )....but I wanted to show the interactions.

A very good set....

#6 for me too. I wouldn't have thought it'd be a Mississippi Kite either without the red eyes; they do look totally different.
