A little flooding at Myakka River State Park today from the resent rain. I couldn't go very far into the park because the river overflowed so much the water came up to and over the road, too deep in some spots to go any further on the bike so I didn't get many pics. The first two shots are of some type of wild flower that got flooded out. I.D. unknown.

3 A shot of my bike on the road before the water became too deep to go further.
4 A shot of a juvenile alligator (about 4 ft. long) relaxing on a log. I struggled to get a good shot but I couldn't get around the scrub.
5 Last shot of the day taken close to home. I found this Florida softshell turtle at the side of the road.
