Mixing B&W and color - feedback please?

I think the girl on the right is distracting, like my eye can't seem to rest on any one of them, especially since she is the only one in color. Maybe it would've been better if you included more of her?
And just on a side note, maybe it would be more interesting is she were standing behind him more? I don't know, just some ideas.

I love the concept, sort of reminds me of the picture of Elizabeth Eckford..

I agree, the girl on the right side is distracting. Perhaps leaving everything in black and white and focusing on the boy on the left in color might work better.
