Lighting is to flat for my flavor and seems like highlights are blown out.

I like it... The light fits the photo very well. Looks like summer but without harsh shadows. I guess I just don't see flat light.

The blown highlights don't bother me as much as the crease along the chin.... it makes her look like she's either got a droopy lip or she's got a 'wad 'o chewin' tabacka' in.

It was overcast. Note the soft shadow edges. The ovecast makes the light source, the Sun, apparently larger which softens the light and the shadow edges.

From the shadows you can also see where the Sun was. The light looks flat to me too, a common problem with ovecast skys and little or no supplimental lighting.

The models skin highlights are a bit blown (lack of detail) for my taste. I look for skin highlights to be between 235 and 240 in the red channel.
