Modeling Photo Shoot Help. Want to get this style of Glamour Glow on Model. Help Me.

I'm an aspiring model photographer. My equipment is the canon 7d, with 24-70mm f/2.8 L lens, and a canon speedlite 580 ex ll. I'm trying to take my photography to the next level and have been watching many model photoshooting videos on youtube, and the work of this photographer, Arthur St. John , has been the most impressive for me. The photos looks like hdr style. The sky is so deep and vivid, while the model is glowing. Some people call this "glamour". Its the style of photography i'm most interested in, and wanted to know if anyone can help me with this. Is my equipment enough to get this look? How much of this type of photography is post processing? Here is an example video. Any guidance is much appreciated. Thank you. -Paul
