"Money"

I need some C&C here. I am in a photo challenge, the theme is "Money." I have several ideas, but I need to choose only one photo of all the ones below.

I don't want to take some photos of bills or change, so I have tried hard to capture this theme. Of course, walking into a bank and getting photos of the cash was my first thought. But this is what i came up with. I am not sure about #1 or #2. I really #3 but I am not sure of which image works best, if any. Thanks for your help.


#1:My least favorite. The ticket machine was bright orange, so I had to turn this into a black and white.

#2: I am not sure this is really "money" enough!

#3 (A): My favorite of this group.

#3 (B): Second favorite.

#3 (C): I don't know if any cropping could improve this.

#3 (D): My least favorite.

I really appreciate any comments, and I wonder if I am getting the idea of this theme right.

I honestly don't like them.... i mean yes they are all things to do with money but they just don't make me go oh hey kewl money pics ... i donno what you should do ... i can't think of a way to photograph money except doing a fly away scene on a windy day with a bunch of 1 dollar bills yes throw the money in the air and let it fly ....

How about a partially unfolded map, a pair of sunglasses and car keys along with some dollar bills and change laying on a table?

As far as your images - I have to agree none really work, but if I had to choose one, I'd go with # 3

your theme is money? how about an abstract idea? maybe a homeless person representing lack of money? Or a strip club, or a super crowded shopping mall, or a ton of weed or......hmmm.....idk thats all I got. But I do like #3 the best because of the color.

Nothing here screams out winner to me. photos are all pretty low quality and nothing really pops from them. Sorry, just being honest.

Nope, don't like any of them; I'd go with one of the first set before I'd go for the last one...Wine glass full of pennies with a knife in the background just doesn't do it for me.

What happened to the piggy bank idea? Or Ron's suggestion of a kid picking up a penny from the sidewalk; done right that could really have an emotional tug.
Or, this time of year, a small child dropping some coins into a Salvation Army bucket.
