Hi everyone,

I am in the process of learning on how to be accurately process my pictures. But to do this i need a Monitor Calibration device so that my screen correctly displays everything that is being processed in lightroom. So what device are you using on yours and what would you recommend i use?

I am using the: IPS277Lflatscreen running on Windows 7.

On the website of my screen it says its calibrated. I don't know if this is just marketing or something? Just thought it was worth mentioning.

First, your display is not calibrated it's just marketing or something.

If all you need to do is calibrate your display you can get a colorimeter. Here's an inexpensive one: Amazon.com: X-Rite CMUNSML ColorMunki Smile: Camera & Photo

And here's a better and more expensive one: Amazon.com: X-Rite CMUNDIS ColorMunki Display: Camera & Photo

If you need to calibrate other devices such as a printer or a projector you'll need a spectrophotometer which is a much more expensive device: Amazon.com: X-Rite CMUNPH ColorMunki Photo: Camera & Photo The spectrophotometer will also do a good job with your display.
