I know some of the images are less than perfect, but worth sharing.. These monkeys are famous for stealing stuff in the blink of an eye. All these bottles and foods were stolen, including my own in #3.

Were is this? All in India?
Really cool to see what are public areas from around the world and all the different forms of creatures that inhabit them. Although I do have to admit monkeys creep me out. Not as bad as they used to though, I'm slowly getting over it haha.

Yeah, these are all at the Elephanta islands in Mumbai.. Monkeys are actually very adorable and loyal, it's very common to have them as pets in some parts of India. If raised from the childhood, they just learn to steal and snatch when hunger gets the best of them..

Nice shots but not something I would consider a clean or safe pet. A lady here in CT was ripped apart by her friends 200 pound chimpanzee before the police killed it. Her name is Charla Nash there is images of the after math but there very disturbing. Glad they Ban them here as private pets.

Read about it just now, gruesome and sad images. But I must say, a monkey isn't the same thing as a chimpanzee. Chimpanzees are much more intellectual and free willed, and not to mention infinite times strong. I am not denying that monkeys can cause serious injuries, but so could a dog. Also to compare it with this incident is not fair(no offense meant). But I guess I'm more comfortable with the idea of a pet monkey as I'm habituated to seeing this. People even go around riding their bicycles with the monkeys on their shoulders, some without chains. It all depends on how they are raised from the childhood, as is the case with dogs.

Posting a few links, and one pic, you'll get the idea:
On Shoulder
swimming with a kid

And getting married. Yeah, that's right!
