No no iridescense. Might look that way because I used flash. Well Logan I might have said the same thing when I was your age but...I saw it and so can you.

I agree with Jr...that is a wow bird. It's feathers are almost 3-D. Really interesting bird IMO.

Thanks very much guys. It hunts along tree trunks for insects. There are a rash of species that are difficult to tell apart.

Nice photo, it is a bit easier to see that some of your other photos like the Andean Solitaire or the flower piercer?
I saw it or a cousin in Santuario de Otun a few years ago.
