Every Sunday in Montreal during the summer, random people get together at the base of Mont-Royal to play drums. Any and everyone is welcome to bring an instrument and just jam. On a good day, there can be over 25 drummers alone!

Street vendors setup their wares, kids, grandparents and all kids of people attend. Jugglers, street performers randomly show up as well.

I thought it would be interesting to capture some of the performers who were there. I found it pretty hard to get around and get decent angles with the amount of people who were there.

Looking for general C&C on the event... do you like them and more importantly do you not like them and what don't you like. I know I'm posting more than the recommended 3-4, but hey, whatever :D

I like 2 because of the expression on the drummer in the back and the background is just blurry enough so it does not distract but clear enough to make me wonder what they are all looking at.

Also #6 I like the expression on his face cute kid

#3 I like the DOF and it is very sharp

I wish I could do 1/2 that good

I love that sax guy as well. He is there pretty much every weekend.

I found a flickr group with a picture of him from the 80s where his hair was way less grey...hehe.

Thanks for the comments
