Hi all!

Played a bit with white balance in my sunset photos, and here they are:

1. Cool version

2. Warm version

I personally like the warm version better, partly because of the water's movement. Though I don't feel they can be compared as they are intended to portray different moods.

The first two are freakishly amazing IMO. The third isn't really doing anything for me. Maybe if you cropped it down to a pan with that gorgeous sky in it. The tangled mess in the bottom takes away from the beauty of this shot.

I am surprised no one has commented yet.

^ How/Why does Photographiend ALWAYS say exactly what I am thinking? I am just going to start "liking" all your c&c that I agree with, because it has been happening A LOT lately!

Anyway, yes, #1 and #2 are REALLY GREAT photographs. I'm sure when more people get on this evening this thread might pick up steam.

For such simplicity in composition you have a good sense of depth in the top two shots. I like the top (cooler) one for better exposure.

Thanks guys! yeah, #3 isn't as strong as the first two, but I quite like the contrast of warm sky + cooler foreground. And the island is a plus IMO. The tangled mess is actually a root of some plant...
