took this over the weekend while killing some time and liked the results. Let me know what you think.

I like it. Though I believe I see some noise. Maybe a tad tighter crop if there's enough pixels left?

Must have taken many tries to get them in the same frame?

It did happen by accident but once I noticed, I was aiming to get it again to try get some more options to choose from out of this framing. Unfortunately, the pilots were not cooperating....

As for the cropping, I could cut it down a little more but I like to leave room for the plane to "fly through" the picture. do you think it is too much?

Yeah, maybe cropping isn't that great of an idea. It'd probably look a bit wonky if the plane was just about to fly out of the picture.

It's too bad they both aren't in focus... if you had stopped down, increased your iso to compensate, and manual focused at they hyperfocal distance you may have nailed both.

I like that the moon is out of focus-it gives a nice sense of space to the proceedings.

Out of curiosity, what shutter speed did you use?

It's probably the atmosphere interfering with the pic.

I gave the pic a quick shop to show what I had in mind.
