The leading lines (road) don't really lead to the subject (cow?) Cow is not emphasized enough to justify title. Over all, the image looks a bit soft. Just not interesting.. no real subject, nothing really catches the eye!

Nice locale though.. I would try shooting the same shot in the other "golden hour" with the sun behind you..and see if that is something worth working with.

You're right upon second exam it isn't sharp to par.

Agreed it is not sharp. Disagree with the image needing more exposures. The scene is exposed fine (-2,-1,0,+1, +2), and given your resort to calling something a "fail" just because you don't like it is a bit trollish of you.
