more backyard candids

My kids want absolutely nothing to do with photos and generally run in the opposite direction. For once, they stayed put! I would really love some feedback on these. PLEASE, PLEASE do not hold back because they are my kids. I want to improve and these are the most convient guinea pigs!

I've got my big girl pants on, so tell it like it is (please!).

I like 3 and 4 the best.

Number 1 is very nice too. Looks like she is very comfortable in front of the camera.

Number 2 looks just a bit soft or Out of focus to me.

These are generally really good! The color, contrast, and focus is great on almost all of them.

However,

#1 looks like it needs shallow depth of field. Aside from that, its wonderful.

#2 the skin color is a little too yellowish orange. Its also out of focus, and chicken wire fence is distracting in front.

#3 and 4 are excellent. DOF is good, and color, contrast, and exposure are right on.

BTW, #1 and #4 qualify as outdoor portraits IMO. I would be proud of all of them. Well done!
