back to the dog park today. this time I brought the 28-75 and 180mm. I'm posting too many to expect any C&C, but I took a lot of pictures today since the park was pretty fully. The black lab with the blue collar is ours. Fenris. hes a 1 1/2 year old rescue from animal control. The only editing done to these was white balance in LR before converting to JPEG.

#2 - Unfortunately, you lose his whole face in the shadows due to his coloring and/or your metering setting.
#3 - Great job freezing the run mid-stride! Sure, Bassets aren't the fastest dogs around, but still nice. :)
#4 - Nice portrait, but that mid-day sun was killing you!
#8 - Another good portrait that worked out quite well because the dog was in the shade.
#9 - I LOVE this one. Only beef: he's looking off-frame instead of into the frame (you know what I mean).

The other shots didn't impact me enough one way or the other to warrant a comment. I'd say the harsh sunlight was your worst enemy in these, but you already know that. ;)

Nice stuff though. Can't wait to see more.
