Photos OK to edit
Mid summer last year I discovered this estate and gardens nearby. It was beautiful but most of the flowers were gone at that point. I’ve been looking forward to getting back there during peak season and today was the day. After a nice breakfast with my mom and my daughter, we grabbed the pup and headed over there (a quick 20 minute ride). The biggest tulips I’ve ever seen. Beautiful fragrant lilacs everywhere. So many blooms and flowering trees I could’ve stayed there all morning - and next week when I go back alone, I will!

Anyway, I’m happy with these as is with next to no editing. Most are straight out of the camera but I did crop a few in iPhoto. If you’re new to Fuji, give the jpegs a whirl, you won’t be disappointed. These are with the Xt2 and Lensbaby Velvet 56 or the Fuji 18-55 kit (the wider shots).

I know there’s too many photos here for a legit c&c request but feel free to comment/critique if you’re so inclined - feedback of any kind is always welcome.

All very beautiful! I looked a few times and can't pick a favorite.

Thanks Cheryl! I think #3 is my favorite - I may have to edit out those tiny bugs and brighten it up a bit for a print. I’m working on a floor to ceiling wall of random flower photos in my kitchen, all small 8x10’s mounted on those wood blocks. #13 and #10 are also a possibilities.

Great idea! You have many to choose from. Maybe a few extra and rotate out now and again.

That’s a great suggestion1. THANKS.

Some very nice images among these...

I agree wholeheartedly. I like 3,5,10,and 12 the most. Looks like a stupendous location. Happy Mother's Day to you!

Thanks Derrel!

Here’s my favorite #3 edited in Affinity to give it a bit of pop for printing.

Really beautiful images. Are you using Velvia?

A beautiful colourful set, all are great but I really like 6 & 7.

Had to double check because I do sometimes use Velvia for flowers but not this time. Standard setting with auto WB and in camera sharpness +1.

Thanks Dave!
