If true, this isn't great news but seems consistent with regular Fuji price hikes:

The price of everything else in the world is skyrocketing, no reason for Fujifilm to be exempt.

My buyer did say Fuji is raising the prices.

I was digging around in some of my photography detritus yesterday and found five old rolls of Kodak Portra 160 120 format (exp date 2003). The receipt was still there for $25 before tax in 2002. One of this forums top of page sponsors currently lists the current version of Portra 160 5 rolls at $59.95 and the other is currently on sale at $48.95 (normally $59.95).
