There are many, many techniques, some are quick & simple and some are very complicated...at least for PS amatures like me.

Google "Photohop Skin" That should give you a few hundred thousand places to start. ;)
 
The first couple look like fairly basic level and colour alterations...

The last 2 look like there's a bit more work gone into them - looks like some airbrushing and softening, as well as altering the colours / saturation / levels...

But as Big Mike says, Google it for more in-depth techniques :)
 
There are a lot of different ways to get that airbrushed look. It can be as easy as using the surface blur filter in CS2.
