Okay, think I'm getting REALLY close to the right light. Still lots of flaws, and I just did very light work on zapping skin marks, etc, but much happier with the lighting than the set posted last week. And I LOVE my stripper guitar, but love it even more on an actual 'entertainer!'

Your thoughts on these please...

I like 1 and 5 the most. She doesn't look too comfortable with a guitar in her hands... and the guitar doesn't really flow with the outfit for me (but I love Schecter guitars fwiw). The lighting looks nice though I don't know anything about studio lighting. Good job!

Nice set again, the duck face pose in 4 doesnt work IMO.

Sorry dozier, just couldn't resist!

FWIW The lighting looks very good, but the poses need work. #5 is the most natural looking. #1 is almost a win but she looks as if she's about to drop the guitar.

the photos in front of black background, the loose hair is distracting. Maybe you can clean it up?

Well done - quite an improvement over your last session with her. You definitely did a good job incorporating the comments from that shoot, and you're doing a good job of dialing in your lighting to where you want it.

Keep shooting models, it only gets easier.

I think the biggest improvement is the posing and her makeup this time around. Much better set.

yeah she just looks so little it looks as if shes struggling to hold the guitar up. overall i like them.

You should definitely teach her how to hold a guitar properly imo. Then those pictures would look better.
I like the 4th most. would like to see more shots of her without a smile.

Yes, her makeup is MUCH better and she seems more comfortable in front of the camera now.

I don't care much for armpit shots, I think if you let her hair fall to cover the armpit, it might help.

#3 is my fav.

I agree.
Lighting is great but the model seems pretty comfortable with the guitar.

thanks everyone - we did work on the posing this time, she's getting more comfortable, and YES I told her NO tanning and she used a slight amount of matte makeup (all comments from the board here!)

I didn't pay attention to the stray hairs until late in the shoot, and these were very light on the pp so I should be able to fix some of that.

I need to dig out a couple of my old guitar magazine product issues and look at the guitar poses, which I ddin't have time to do before this regrettfully. The strap I have did not look appropriate, so we just had her hold the guitar.

There were a LOT of other likely better shots that i'll try to get posted (she wanted the guitar shots asap to post on facebook, so I did those quickies last night) but overall SHE was much happier as well.

And that was funny as hell fokker!
