More Tamron 85mm Testing

Why this over the Nikon 85mm 1.8? I don't own it so I don't know from experience, but I hear the Nikon is excellent. If you like the Tamron then I guess that's all that matters.

The Tamron is actually better than the Nikon 85mm in almost all ways. It costs a little more, and weighs a little more, but it's sharper, better bokeh, and much better CA control. Plus, I'm experienced with Tamron lenses and have grown to really like the brand.

I really do love how sharp and colorful the images are. I was expecting the DOF to be the biggest seller for me. I had no idea the way it renders would blow me away like this. It's the first time a lens' sharpness/color has gotten my attention as something really special.
