Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Im putting together a portfolio for my application. Most of the shots are black and white and focus around architectur, lines, etc. I was debating wether to include a few floral shots....here's one to give you a taste.

Hmmm, very nice! What lens was it taken with?

I guess this was taken some time ago.. or where in Canada are you?!

Well, I am not a pro.
So I don't know what real pros really look for when someone presents them their portfolio.
Is it specialisation?
Or is it diversity?

If it is diversity, then I would suggest you do include your flower macros. Shows that your interests are not in one area only - and your skills aren`t in that one area only, either.

To me this would be an addition to the portfolio rather than a subtraction.

I agree. I thought about applying to Concordia University in Montreal for their program, but they were look for specifics, what you wanted to photograph for 3 years basically, and I couldn't do that, so I heard Dawson had a great program and checked it out, and liked what I saw....I just wasn't sure if I should go from one corner of the spectrum to the other....but I would like to add a few floral shots, to show that I am able to photograph colour shots and floral/nature. Thanks everyone.
