Yeah, I dunno wassup with that...here it is the next night, and no other comments yet. Weird. Seeing this makes me want to go crabbing. Last time I went was in 2012 with my son, brother, and sister in-law. Crabbing is about 100 miles away, over the Pacific Coast Range mountains...but still...I wouldn't mind doing some crabbing.

I like it, but it could have been better. What I see here is rather static, meaning; the main items of interest are all lined up in the middle, with nothing to move my eye around the frame.

Designer, I am quite sure I am not following you on this one...

Wet footprints lead you into the scene left to right on a diagonal. There are multiple repeating diagonals broken by a line of grasss on the right that leads the eye through the swirl around the boots of the crabber. I agree he is in a somewhat static pose but if he moved anymore, I couldn't have gotten the shot unless I jacked the crap out of the ISO...which I didn't want to do and thus lose the delicacy of the color tones in the water. I am not one to abuse the rule of thirds nor am I one to always follow but in this instance, most everything works in the quadrants as per the primary subject: the boat while the crabber and the back half of his boat are nearly equadistant outside the left and right thirds verticals. I did not interrupt this guy's normal activities in any way.
