Morning Dew, Coals, and Fly Paper

I'm borrowing my uncle's Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 macro lens for a while so I thought I would just, ya know, photograph the most random objects with no kind of relationship between them. lol

I'd like to say, before somebody else says it, that I did not up the saturation on those coals. lol

And, of course, no macro set would be complete without a bokeh-licious shot.

Wow, you are right...talk about 3 random objects. I like the coals, but of course the 2 major distractions on each side of the picture bothers me. I guess you were trying to frame the coals?

As for the picture with the leaf. I DEW like it a lot! sorry bout that one. What I like most is the detail of the veins in the leaf and how you can see the grass behind it.

Lol kind of. I was trying to frame it and also lead up to the coals by making it seem like a "valley" leading to the coals with the white being snow or something (I play a lot of video games). Lord of the Rings-esque or something lol

Oh, my favorite is definitely the fly paper. I particularly like the little bugger with his arse stuck fast to the tape. Resistance is futile...
