Love the sun and clouds in the top third, love the trees and misty feeling in the lower third - can you lose the middle? Maybe it's because I can't view this all at once on my screen due to the size of the photo or maybe there's just nothing of interest in the middle...

...and here I was all set to see a picture of some cat named Steven stretching in the morning light. Really nic shot BD!
although I would lower the highlights of that bright jagged spot above the sun if I were going to print it. It actually crops nicely to a landscape 11x17 on the lower half.

I agree that trying to view on a landscape screen seems to detract from it. Maybe try reducing the size 60%-70%?

I pulled it down and looked at it at a reduced size and it is beautiful. It has a nice triangular composition I don't see much.

Reduced Size...I too hate that verticals on a horizontal screen are awkward to view, especially on laptop screens which are notoriously small to start with.
