I like it. The portrait orientation helps to emphasize the leading line of the sun reflecting off the wet surface.

How come you made it black and white?

I really like the foreground, but the sky is just.. dull. Not that you can do much about it, but I'd definitely reshoot on a morning with a more intriguing sky. Cause that foreground has some really nice lines/tonality.

Bc_Steve- I converted it to black and white only because it worked a little better to my eyes, landscape shots are a very weak area for me.

D-B-J- I will keep an eye out for more detailed skies, it's a good point, thanks

well... I like the sky here, because there is so much going on in the foreground that the sky doesn't have to be with clouds

I like it. Am no pro so everyone's comments here make sense to me as possibilities. Cutting the sun out completely and leaving glow in the sand? Very nice patterns in that sand.
