ditto..the comp, to me, it pretty cool. Shame it doesn't "pop". Dunno if editing will fix or maybe reshoot.

It looks kinda like a dragon to me...flower body head and the stem is tail

I took the liberty of lightening it up for you, put that white highlight on the flower around 245 or so.... Also cloned out some white specks in the background. You might want to post slightly larger images also.. much easier to critique!

Thanks for comments. Can't retake photo as other buds are in bloom & its just not as effective. I did lighten it up in pp & looks much better.
