Had a short window of time to grab some shots at this event. Continuing to prefer a wide angle lens and trying to pan - although a few shots with my 85mm. Of note, it was winter around here until about 3 days before this event!!!

Some good shots. Numbering them would aid in getting C&C, I think. I know (for myself) that in a post that has 11 shots, as this one does, that I'm not disposed to offering up C&C on any but the earliest frames...I no longer have much time,and keeping track of numbers in my head and then writing C&C is more effort than I, and most others, are willing to offer on this forum.

Shot 1 has awkward framing...off-balance within the frame, makes no sense at all on where he's placed, which is: very close to the "short side" of the frame. Avoid doing that,and you'll be miles ahead.

I think shots 2 and 3 are very strong, fantastic feeling of movement! Well-done,sir! The shot of the fellow on bike 452 is also nice.

Thank you for that. I agree, and usually do a decent job of avoiding that framing issue. Not so on that shot.
