Movie Review: True Grit

meh. It was good for what it was, I guess, but Unforgiven has probably spoiled me for westerns. Everyone did a good job acting. Nice scenery. It had the feel of a kids movie, though, but I would recommend it if you are into these kinds of movies.

I thought it was well done. Obviously it was a remake of a john wayne western, so that's alot to live up too. Jeff bridges nailed it, Hailee stienfield was very good for a child actor aswell, but some of her dialogue seemed forced at times, Jeff bridges aced his though. Cinematography was top notch imo, coen brothers always have some dark humor laced in too. One thing I liked about this movie was that it was strait forward, no stupid or outlandish plot twists. Good flick overall.
