Had an opportunity to travel to southern Mozambique earlier this year and spent some time in the dune forest that compromises much of the coastal environment in this area. Mozambique is not a great destination for 'classic' African wildlife, but bird life is plentiful and this was our main goal. We had just missed flamingo season, but enjoyed sunny weather and plenty of life listers.

Awesome looking birds. I especially like the first one. Even the tree lichen under the bird's left foot is tack sharp. :icon_salut:
