Hi All:
Below is 'Mr Janurary 2007' for a calendar published here in Florida. As you can see, 'Two-Speed', a mitted seal-point Birman is quite photogentic and no stranger to calendars (this was his third).

Of course, most of the time he just looks like this ...

Is it a scan from print?
As presented here, both photos don't look all sharp to me? And it is the first that made it into the calendar?

Mr January 2007 aka Two-Speed is a beauty, there is no doubt, though! Lovely eyes! And loads of fur all over the place to be gobbled up by the vacuum cleaner, hm?

yes, they are scanned from film prints and can assure you they are quite sharp. I'm not aware of any calendar which prints less then 'tack sharp' images for their calendar
