Dang, you obviously know what you're doing! Like tirediron mentioned, everything you've included in your composition makes this so much more than just another 'moon' shot.

I am still trying to capture the moon's shadow face and not lose the foreground or capture the foreground without bleaching the details out of the moon.

I have avoided commenting on this image because I would appear to be the Grinch who stole Christmas and that is not my intent, more so, the intent is to show the difference between actual color and allowing color cast to "enhance" the mood. Neither is right or wrong, just differing in point of view. Working with the RAW image would have enhanced the edit but again, more to show a difference than to dis an otherwise fine photograph.
