So not the most interesting subject, but I thought it was at least worth a try.
In retrospect I probably would have in the first photo focused more on those two cracks near the lower right corner, or possibly had a more dominant subject. (A small dry leaf perhaps?)


Second one, I am tryign to determine whether I like it or not.

Nice shots!! A dry leaf is a brilliant idea, maybe in color?
The darkness under the cracks looks really good.

yeah... maybe a bit of colour? But even though those are interesting pictures, and I like yout choice of dof, especially in the first one
