My gun dog trainee MAC during a muddy mid-February day of training. The ground surface is just thawed enough to make MAC a mess, but the ice in the background spells a wait for water work.

Beautiful dog. I hate when the ground is thawed for only a little bit on top. Sadie' s long hair soaks up the mud till it looks like her hair is beaded. Takes forever to get it out
