A bit muddy, need some punch ... contrast. But, there is a lot going on in the image, even a sense of movement. I like it. "Mum's the word" was popularized /immortalized by Shakespeare.

Nice, basic image, but I agree with Gary A. that it needs something to brighten it up a bit and a bit of punch to the image.

I like the composition and the dof which you are really crushing lately with that 105mm. For me, I don't like that the flower is not fully open nor is it still a bud. Sort of that awkward teenage transitional phase. Also the black background makes the yellow seem a bit off IMO.
