Last Spring I found these Morels growing in the back yard.

I hope the come back this year.

I love those things breaded and fried. Since you're hoping they come back I'm assuming you ate them.

Nice capture of some lovely specimens. I'll be damned if fungi aren't high in the running for "coolest organisms on the planet". Mushrooms are also a nice photographic challenge, seeing as how they tend to grow to small sizes at ground-level in low light.

Yes I did eat them they were great!
It was a little challenge to get that shot, a pine tree was on the back side and it was on a down grade
I'm buying a new DSLR camera, Canon Rebel T2I. Got a good deal on it with 2 lenes $825.00 or so.
Time to move on from a point and shoot.
I've used my brothers DSLR many times, I think it's a Nikon.
So i can't wait to get my own.
