my afternoon with a lot of (editing) fun: LEAVES

(an image I'd actually throw in the trash, but haven't done so yet. Started with a crop, gave the background a light blue color. Then made a 2nd layer in negative form and made all colors a bit more saturated, then merged both layers, made a duplicate layer of that again and 'stretched' this layer a bit on all 4 sides, then kept the base layer at 50% transparency and merged both layers, a final step to get this sort of overlapping 2nd image in the background)
