My Commute to Work

I had a nice ride in to work this morning...at a whopping 11 miles per hour, though it was not traffic related, nor due to a lousy commuting vehicle, in fact there was no traffic at all. You get to enjoy the scenery when there is no radio, cup holders, cell phone, power windows or door locks because it has no doors or windows in this old jalopy; heck the only power I have is power steering and that is only because my commuter vehicle is four wheel drive and really requires it.

But as I crested the hill I was awarded this sight for getting up before dawn and getting ready for a day in the office.

Some days it really sucks being a farmer, but I always love my 11 mph, no traffic, early morning commutes on my ole tractor.

Ah, I'm glad to see you've broken out of your photographer's bloc. Not to mention I like it.

Sorry about the Macro shots...in all honesty I am not sure I am quite out of my Photo Block just yet, I still have not gone out like I used to, but this morning the view was nice so I took a picture. I probably would not have done that if I had not gone into the woods and blown a tire on my tractor. I drove right back home before it went completely flat so I would not have to change the tire in the field. Still the boys down to the shop were not at work yet, so while I waited, I went back and grabbed my camera and took the picture.

The worse thing about tractors, farming and pictures, is that on my tractor, I see a lot of deer and other wildlife; and they will stand there and watch you, but as soon as you shut off the tractor so that the vibration does not blur the photo, they get scared and run off. Silly animals.
