Personally I find that portraits are not my strong suit so I'm trying to practice as much as possible.

Would like some advice/opinions if possible.

Adorable little girl. I love the backlight - strong enough to provide depth and separation, but not blown out. Great gaze and expression. What's the colour version like?

I get that expression a lot it's the "Mommy I've had enough of your camera." look. Here is the color version.

The colour version is cute too. The orange is nice against the green. It just needs a little level adjustment and it responds well. I can post if you are interested or you can try it yourself. I can see why you might have gone BW. The orange does command attention away from the eyes.

but I would crop a little of background from the top.
