Took some pictures of my dog Rocky constructive criticism is acceptable

The dog seems to be out of focus. Maybe a closer shot showing more of the dog would be more interesting.

It would help to get more of Rocky and less of the background buildings. Perhaps if you faced the other direction and moved in closer.

I'm very distracted by the "Daniel Photography" on both shots. In the first one the words seem off centered and on both they're way to big for me. It was the first thing I noticed in the picture and had to look for a little bit to think about the dog

Ok so i need to focus more on the dog and remove the trailers and hosue in the background so i guess i need to take him to a park or something ? I'll get some redo's this weekend and post after shots. Thanks for the comments

hmmm..if you want more of the environment, try framing Rocky differently. Maybe Position him in one of the "quadrants" of your picture... That way he makes up part of the "frame" of the photo...I think showing the trailers/industrial stuff in the background would really "unique-ify" your pic...
